Iyengar Yoga
Regular yoga practice has been proven to increase strength, stamina, and flexibility; to reduce stress, improve sleep and enhance overall wellbeing. Through yoga we can restore our natural relaxation response and clear the mind of clutter.
Iyengar yoga is methodical and progressive: focussing on alignment and actions for maximum benefit. Sequences are carefully structured to bring physical, mental, and emotional clarity.
In our classes we aren’t looking for Instagram perfect poses and we want to challenge you in a friendly and supportive way, whether you are experienced or new to yoga. Yoga is welcoming and inclusive.
As Iyengar yoga teachers our training is extensive and ongoing. We often use props (like belts, bricks and blankets) to help you get into poses or stay in them for longer which makes Iyengar yoga accessible to people of all ages and all abilities.
